as total mentioned his fluid and sensor were clean too... he still needed to have it rebuilt to fix it...

If your wiring got damaged you should be able to test for continuity or see the damage?
Hey Augie, yeah, he is still going to check pressure before I even take those out of the package. I just wanted to have them on hand before we get into the trans pan....again. I also am making sure our local dodge dealer has the internal wiring harness too. So we are going to first check pressure out. By the way, I just cam across a P1763 diagnostics check list. I am going to post it here in a few minutes. I think this maybe something directly from Dodge. This should help a LOT of people out. We are also going to follow some of the points on this to see what happens. Let me know what you think. I am going to try and post it in the DIY section.

K
Here is the update from the Transmission Shop

They replaced the Throttle Valve in the Transmission
It kept on doing the eratic shifting, just like before I changed the Governor Solenoid
Spent the next 5 Hours troubleshooting and finally said screw it

They completely replaced the Valve Body in the Transmission with a Brand New One
Comes with all the Updated Parts I replaced on the old one, plus Borg Warner parts where it could be used
Shifting problem has completely disappeared
The Transmission shop owner is taking my truck home tonight to drive around, see if it acts up. So far they have put 50 KM and nothing

What do you guys think was the screw up here??
Obviously a spring or something stupid in the Valve Body screwed up
Electronic Problem??

They valve body was completely replaced free by the way
I didn't pay a penny, hell of a mechanic
I'd recommend him to anyone in Calgary after what he has done for me

Actually, he needs a couple loads of dirt hauled to his house, and doesn't have/wanna use, his own truck......

Probably something sticking. Question becomes, Why?......

Well
So far no problems
Shifting fine and no issues
Tested the flow of the cooler lines to the cooler/aux cooler
Perfect flow

Real test will be on a hot day

I'm tempted to tell people with code P1763 to just replace the whole valve body
Prices on eBay are barely $300. Use Borg Warner for the solenoid if it doesnt have it
Keep everyone updated

Transmission mechanic said he'd let me know what was causing the problem once he rips the old valve body apart

If it is a thought down the road i really do reccomend patc and theyre transmissions/ i love my rebuild backed with all of thier parts. overdrive shifts smoothly and precise, more positive power firmer shift, ffeels like a whole lot less power loss with the TQ that was used. i pulled a 5 ton semi out of mud in 4 wheel and the truck didnt even blink a week ago. i was shocked and impressed. just rolled 10k on it

well hopefully your TC isnt starting to fail and leaving shavings to plug valve body...thats what plugged mine up but they were able to clean it during rebuild.. Something large enough to obstruct flow had to be lodged in there and shavings that big aren't normal wear and tear...

I'm under warranty for 22,000 km
If she goes, no cost to me. So far it's shifting excellent.
No hard shifting either

The transmission mechanic also ripped apart the filter
Nothing in it. Replaced it with a WiX
