I'm just going to replace the parts man
Like the thread says, it's thrown that code twice and I don't have money to cover a
Performance transmission.
Code has shown up twice in 5 days.

No, that's just the BW Governor solenoid you want. The Gov. pressure switch/transducer is separate.

K
Thanks for the part number
You wouldn't have the transducer/sensor part number for that solenoid by chance??

I checked the catalogues and they obviously aren't the part you show in the pic
Trust you over these catalogues any day.

Thanks a lot HeyYou and everyone for the info
Really appreciate all this info you gave me guys

Here is another question, am I stuck with a 46RE Transmission??
I was reading up that they used New Venture Transmissions in the trucks as well
Is there a modification kit to use?? I trust NV Transmission over these Chrysler Transmissions anyday.

Had a rebuild done on my Jeep Aisin AX-5 Transmission, 5th Gear C-Clip went after 10K, happened again, and the third time the owner of the shop welded my transmission without my permission. Told me and my dad when we were at the shop to pick it up.
Then, The tranny really got screwed up after another 10K, really loud knocking in 5th Gear. Went back in there, lied about welding the Transmission stating he didn't, he refused any warranty, told me to Rebuild for $1500
I told him to go screw himself, got a BRAND NEW AX-5 Shipped from the States and the jeep has been running top notch every since.
Was going to install a AX-15 but didn't have the money for the conversion kit and I needed my vehicle going for work.

The NV transmissions are manuals. You can do a manual swap.... but, its an exercise.

There are some really stout versions of the 46RE trans out there in the aftermarket.... not exactly cheap, but, folks here that have 'em swear by them. Another alternative would be to have it beefed up by a local rebuilder.... if you can find one that you trust. Yet a third option would be to rebuild it yourself...... There are some threads in the FAQ section if you decide to go that route. A couple members here have done so, with good results.
