to bad you didnt buy a heated freeze plug while you had it out for those cold mornings instent heat when pluged in

Cold mornings? In Alabama? 3 hours from the gulf?

Your lucky...my leaky softplug was between the tranny and engine...I used the stopleak in the small tube to fix it for three years until I got the transmission rebuilt and got them fixed right but mine was a small leak..

could, but its easy to release pressure slowely when removing the cap.. unless you an idiot

Btw that video of the freezplug sound.... sounds like its taking a dump in the toilet lol

i would not chance getting burn if water was to suddenly rush out when you are trying to relieve the pressure.

When I have to drive my truck somewhere to burp the cooling system.... I just keep the radiator cap in my pocket, until I am done. (yes, I drive without a cap.....)
