Default Lift?

Hi, I have a 1994 dodge 1500 and im trying to find out what kind and size lift would be best. I found a 2.5 inch by zone and 3 inch by tough country. Anyone know which one would be best?

Any low-restriction intake system will help some. Whether it will be noticeable or not is another question entirely. I still run the stock system, getting a better drop in filter wouldn't be a bad idea for you.

What size tires do you want to run?

Which lift would depend on what you wanna do with the truck and like HeyYou said what tire size. I have a 3" lift with 305/70r16's (basically a 33" tire) and I like it. I've got pictures up in "my garage" if you wanna see what a 3" lift looks like. I don't offroad much, just a little when home in Oklahoma and sometimes when hunting or fishing. I bought the truck with the lift already installed but if I had started with a stock truck I would have just bought a leveling kit, some wider wheels and larger tires.

Remember when you lift one it wears out the suspension and steering components much faster, lowers your gas mileage, it rides worse, ... ect and I think it gets worse the taller you go.

Just some food for thought.

I bought 2.5" spacers off ebay for 60 bucks and 1.5" rear blocks from top gun. also got 2" shocks from rough country. my truck looks good. and i can clear 33's. the only thing i would change now if i could would to go with the 3" spacers from top gun just for a little more clearance. also 3" is the highest you can lift without changing other things (pitman arm, etc) . if you want to run anything over a 33" tire you will need new gears (4.56's)

I have a 3" lift from top gun customz on my 99 dodge. I think it was $180 but i also ordered the new rear rough country shocks since my stock ones needed replaced since they were old and rusty. It came out to be around $265 i beleive after shipping and everything. Its also fairly easy to install. It came with 3" coil spacers, 1 1/2" rear blocks and u bolts, and two front shocks ( then optional rear shocks).
