EGR block off plate

Dont you already have like two other threads you started discussing this? you should keep this to the kegger mod thread....
You dont need to order one...Just make one. Its a flat piece of metal with two holes drilled for screw to hole it in place... not exactly fabrication rocket science... Honestly I think the kegger mod requires more fabrication skill to do right than making a plate...

EGR wasn't even cast into the manifold after some time in 96.... My original 96 manifold had provisions for EGR, but..... there was a....... wait for it........
block off plate where the valve would go. Now, I don't know if someone changed the manifold before I got the truck, or, if it came that way from the factory. (No EGR on 96 and up trucks.)

Well I went ahead and made my own out of some extra sheet metal laying around. It was pretty easy to do, just used a cut off wheel to cut it out. Heres some pics
Couldnt use the original template because there was just to big of a hole to weld shut. This is what it looks like when you cut off the egr valve
