ac issues

Default ac issues

Ok well..awhile back the two prong plug that goes to my ac one of the wires got rippd off awhile back so I spliced it back together&ac clutch wouldn't engage.So today I took a test light &grounded it&touched the end of the light to the wire that was spliced&boom it kicked on...seems like a ground issus.Is there a ground Im missing maybe?

PCM grounds the circuit. Is the system charged?

Its charged if I jump it with the light it gets good&cold

Might be one of the pressure switches have failed..... Not sure which side of the circuit they are on though.....

Pressure switch?idk worked the day before I did my plenum wondering what I could of did?I was gonna nust replace the switch but dont wanna waste money.If I have to guess I can just jump it&run a toggle switch if need be.

If you have power at the compressor, everything is working correctly. The white wire just runs off to ground somewhere.

Ok, I see where yer at. Yeah, if the system operates properly if you bypass the switch, replace it. There are two though, one on the high side, and one on the low side. Make sure you get the right one.
