Default Swapping long bed for short bed.

Like the title says, has anyone ever done it? I have a long bed 94' SC 5.2. What would it take to do such a thing, besides a new bed?

Cutting the frame..... removing a section, and welding it back together... shortening the driveshaft..... e-brake cables, brake line, etc.

The "cutting the frame" part would kill it for me.

I was looking at a 1939 Dodge 1 ton pick up with a 9 ft bed. Could not get the guy anywhere near a reasonable price. Than would have been a nice addition....9 ft is a LONG bed!

I think short beds look goofy when lifted personally. All things considered I'd rather have my long bed
