Default 46RE Valve Body

I am trying to find a good exploded view of the Valve Body on a 01 Ram 4x4. I pulled the valve body due to the trans only having 1st and reverse. I have found the spring for the 3-4 acumulator broken but it also messed up the piston (which I cant find) and the dealer has not been much help neither has any of the local trans shops.

Check Wittrans.com for parts. They should be able to get you what you need.

We also have parts manuals available for download in the faq section. Might have a nice view in the right one for your year truck.

Welcome to DF.

Those springs are prone to breaking.

You may have more issues than that, but that is certainly an issue. In the FSM that HeyYou mentioned, there is a very good detail to troublshooting these trannys.

That's great! It is good to have a good tranny shop nearby that will help you out. The nearest town with a tranny shop to me is about 60 miles from here! Just so you know, WITTRANS is a great supplier for parts on these. If you call them with a question they are very helpful also. Glad you have a good shop ner you!

Hey scrambler you should make a new thread for this question. A- You will be more likely to get the help you need, and B- you don't want to thread jack someone else. Also if you add info about your truck to your signature then people will be able to better assist you. A Mod should be along shortly to help you out.
