You also see lots of colorful "performance" parts with thing like thunderbolts and such on the side.... what you dont see is any actual data like dyno results to prove they do anything more than their less colorful , less expensive counterparts.... Its all marketing hype.. for some reason people just want to believe this stuff actually works better so bad they convince themselves to buy it time and time again... when oftem the stock stuff is of better quality... and oem replacement literally performs exactly the same and is the same product just without a colorful sticker of label stuck on it... sometimes they mold it out of a different color material of make it thicker like in the case of spark plug wires but usually no measurable difference can be achieved in performance..

Truth is when people buy the more expensive stuff they are less likely to change it when its time... and when they do they notice a large increase in power or performance because thier old stuff was so worn out not because the new stuff is really better.

The gas you put in your tires has zero effect on fuel economy.

So if I cover my truck in stickers I wont gain hp and mpg?? Dam the market!! I thought I would be golden. I was even thinking of changing back to summer air in my tires cuz its been warm lately. I mean, warm air is less dense than cold so I figured it would be lighter so I could gain wirh having less unsprung weight to turn.

I can confirm the fact that fuzzy dice actually give worse MPG's ,simply because of the coolness factor along with mashing the throttle harder to show them off.
