Problems with used RAM 1500?
How much did you pay for it?? I'm guessing you paid quite a bit to expect a 17 year old used truck to have no problems to work out?... Thats really what it boils down to though...Its honestly only designed for an average lifespan of 10 years... even the stereotypical "old lady's car" with ridiculously low miles and garage kept will have problems from age and things drying up or leaking... you cant expect miracles...thats all I'm trying to say...
Honestly if it really is low mileage you can expect to see a few problems arise from using it quite a bit more than its seen.

My only real issue was the A/C since it wasn't even hooked up, not sure they could advertise it with having A/C, but it was sold "as-is" I am sure I will just end up fixing it myself, as the "dealership" I bought it at I doubt will be of any help.
I paid just under 4K for it. Of course I expect there to be some problems with it, I am not sure where I ever said I didn't? My whole point of this posting was just to see if I could find any major issues that affected this truck, aka the transmission always needs replaced at 100K or whatever. Was just a general inquiry, I know older cars have issues, always owned older cars.

the 95 and older 2nd gens actually have a more reliable tranny being hydraulically controlled instead of electric...
