if the fuel line behind the tank tank started leaking you may want to also want to replace the brake lines that is behind the tank with it. it will most likely start leaking and you never want a brake line to start leaking. you may also want to check the rest of the brake line just to be safe.

I actually have already replaced the brake line that runs next to the tank so I should be covered there. And I replaced the main line for the front brakes as well since it was leaking. The rest of them don't look too bad. Thanks though.

Looks like dodge has discontinued the original replacement line for my truck. Guess it's time to get into custom making my own line.

You can get the quick connects in kit form at your local neighborhood parts store. As for the rest, I would run steel line just as much as possible. You can buy it in 20 foot rolls.... which had better be enough.

I did pick up a 25 foot roll of steel line and 4 foot of flexible fuel injection hose (good for 225psi) from napa today. I've gotta go in and check for the quick disconnects because there are a couple styles and when I call napa to get it delivered half the time it's not right so I always gotta check.

Nice to hear it actually wants to run on ALL of it's cylinders.... any idea what it's major problem was? Were the ignition parts just worn? Or, is this one of those magic tricks vehicles sometimes pull?

well it seemed part magic trick since the second day I started it after I replaced the fuel pump the passenger side only was running, and the time before the driver side only was running. But as soon as the new plugs and wires were in it was running a wholeee lot better.

When looking at the old plugs I believe they were original, most of them were pretty sooty, and a couple of them had a very thin worn out electrode, those were the rear 3 on the driver side. So if they had been replaced before I think who ever did it skipped those 3 since they are a pain to get to.

Also most of the plugs on the driver side of the motor were wet and smelled of gas, so I guess they just weren't good enough to fire.

Hey, just noticed, you are in Toledo. Not to far from me.

Howdy Neighbor!!

Were they champion plugs?? (I don't particularly care for them, as it has been my experience that once they foul out, only fix is to replace them......)

Yeah, Point Place actually, only about 5 minutes from the Michigan line.

And yes, they were champions. I've never really had a bad experience with champion plugs, but I've never been a fan of them either. I used to run AC Delco's in all of my GM's and I went to Autolite in my Fords and liked the results. So now I put Autolites in everything except my bike which get NGK R's per factory spec.

I am thinkin' I am gonna have to set up a meet for all the northern Ohio/southern michigan members.... we seem to have quite a population here...... I think that would be fun.

Yep, I ran the AC's in all my GM products, and never had a problem. (that I didn't induce myself......) I don't even remember what I bought to put in the truck.... I think I have bosch super coppers..... they seem to work fairly well. I still have an oil consumption problem to figger out though.... just not in a big hurry, as I suspect I am going to learn expensive things..
