1994 V10 half the motor isn't firing.
Sure sounds like a good time. So I'm in. Now I just gotta get the truck done soon so I can drive it there.
AC's are good plugs from my experience. Even good in performance applications. Autolites have yet to fail me either, ran them all from copper to Iridium and not a single issue. I've heard bosch, or atleast most of their more *fancy* plugs have an issue with fouling and sudden death, but no experience for myself since I've never used em'
I agree, oil consumption can turn into expensive things. Have you ever replaced the plenum gaskets?

i had 3 champions on my 81 die all of a sudden not long after the block was flooded with gas. not been much of a fan of them since that but when they are working good they do there job. these are the ones that came out of my dads ford that worked fairly good even though they were shot.

i have been told AC plugs work good in big block engines

Yep. That helped some, but, I still go thru more oil than I should. By a good margin..... That was one of the first things I did on my truck.

possibly but had we found the rotten leaking fuel filter before the plug were changed they might have not ever been changed. new fuel filter seemed to have solve the problems it was having. silly fords. steel fuel filter and stainless steel lines going to the filter that is almost hidden behind the side of the fuel tanks.
yeah those plugs are among the most warn I've seen. I'll have to take a pic of some of the plugs out of my V10 if I remember when i go out there. A few of them were interesting.
How much oil is too much by a good margin?

I can't say that's too bad. At current moment I don't know how much oil is will use between changes. But when I first looked at it, there was and oil change sticker in the window and it was due in about about 1000 miles, and the oil was still full on the dipstick.
well I got a video of it running when it was only firing on roughly half the motor. Didn't realize that my fiance was recording me while checking it out. Sorry for the poor quality, and the fact that it's sideways, her phone has issues.
I still need to get a video of it running right now. It actually doesn't sound as bad as I expected with the straight pipes.
