do you have stock wheels or other?
and do you have any wheel spacers ?

on autozone's web site they have 2 bearings listed. timken's for about 177 and duralast for 137. i think you get what you pay for - but - the cheap ones should last at least 1-2 years, not 5 minutes.

if they weren't such a pita to change, i'd say just keep replacing them under warranty until you get a good one. but since they are a pita, i'd put in a timken, skf, or national.

heyyou is correct, torque is 185ish on 4wd, less on 2wd.

I torqued it to 200 this time. Last time was 150. The range I found online was 140-150.

The back seals went out on the last one...grease was everywhere.

I had the exact same issue with the Duralast bearing this week, it last about a day and when I pulled it off I had about 2 inches of play up and down with it and the back of it blew out. I replaced it with the next one up and have yet to drive it to see if it happens again.

If this one blows I'm getting new 2.5 ton axles and turning it into a bog truck. It's irritating the hell outta me.

Will the extra hurt it. Not that it matters with the warranty. I mean it only takes an hour to change em.

Looking at how they are designed, nope. Shouldn't be a problem.

Awesome. I had to torque it more cause one of the bolt ridges was covering the hole.
