Being that I need more power for uphill pulls, I am probably going to locate a Duramax turbo diesel.
The dodge has been good, but time to move on.
I will keep you all posted. You all have been great here and thanks for all the help.

To be continued...

Ok. after looking a little today, I keep coming back to the
dodge.
I also getting spooked by the price of diesels. I am leaning toward 2500 HEMI's now.
I do not want to underrate my TV because maybe I will upgrade trailer in future.
Is there any problematic years?

Just remember to run a minimum of 89 octane in a Hemi or you will end up in the position my old man is in with number 4 and 6 pistons melted

you may want to look around the 3rd gen section. from what i have read they tend to have a lot of front end failures due to non serviceable parts being used. if you do buy one you may be looking are replacing all tie rods and ball joints if it is not covered by a recall.
