Default reduce interior noise when running without a muffler

I took my muffler off a while ago and love the sound, however, recently I have started towing my boat to go fishing and the the rpm's are about 1k higher towing the boat and noise inside is killing me. I would hate to have to put a muffler back on, so does anyone know how I could reduce the resonance sound inside the cab?

That's the only reason I still have a muffler. No real way to reduce the sound.

Where some earplugs or something

Put some extra piping to go past the axles

I've seen people who take out the seats and carpet and put truck bed liner everywhere. It actually is a great sound dampener and is waaayy cheaper than those sound reduction mats. It would be about a day project because you have to wait for it to dry, but its cheap (under 50$ for cheap rustoleum stuff) and works great.

It would help, but you still don't have a muffler, and you're driving a big V8.

You could try the dynamat type stuff, it's technically used to improve sound. But I'm pretty sure it'll help reduce outside noise. LMC sells the stuff
