It was optional. But seriously, stop looking at the trak-lok.

Just putting on gears and an LSD are't going to increase your times by very much. Like someone said, it's a heavy truck not supposed to go fast. If you want to go fast get a car. If you want your truck to go fast, you're gonna spend some $$$.

I'm not trying to turn it into a 9 second truck! Just make it a little more fun to drive and take to the strip on the weekends and the only thing that won't be minor as far as aftermarket parts are the gears heads and intake manifold. All the rest will be bolt ons unroll I decide weather or not to rip all of the wiring out and go with an old school carb and tranny setup or not

Ditch the TB spacer. Worthless

Not going to find a spool for a 9.25, and I doubt you are spinning much off the line so no need for a locker, however see below.

Pulling weight off is easy.

No AC
No Heat
No EVAP
No Radio
No carpet
No headliner
One seat
No door panels
No fender liners

You can ditch the Power sucking 46RE for a 727, but no OD.

For the motor...

M1 4bbl (2bbl M1s suck for a drag motor)
58 TB
Eddy Heads
Cam-rockers-springs-push rods-timing chain...
Headers: Done
Delete the cats: Done
Free flowing exhaust
All this can make a 360 run.

Then you will need gears and a Locker so do that too.

Other stuff...Start the truck, pull something out, if it keeps running great, if it quits put it back in...

Haha it already has no spare tire/ tools or any ac related parts and my problem with some of the performance parts is I've been cursed with OBD1...great philosophy though!

This may help you marginally improve your ET's. I hope it helps. Please post a DIY of the install.

I wonder why there are no customer reviews.

Really, it just comes down to power/weight ratio. You'll get the same results lowering the weight as you will by building the engine, and it's a lot cheaper.
Then build the engine.
Get it to hook up.
You're gonna spend the rest of your life thinking...I need just a little more power.
Hot rodding stays in your blood.
