JATO unit...... should cut 10 seconds or more off of your quarter mile times.

It's a big, heavy, truck. It ain't ever gonna be fast.....

For drags on stock sized tires 4.56's would be great. At the expense of highway driveability of course.

If the LSD is functioning correctly you will lay 2 black stripes. I wouldn't bother with the dodge trac-lok, cuz they aren't the greatest. If I was trying to go LSD, it would be an Eaton Truetrac.

Can you say "spool" or Detroit locker. You will tear that trac lock apart its the same as the stock lsd. Best way to improve et are; slicks for the back, skinny's for the front, 90/10 shocks for the front. Cheap ways are get ride of any and all excess weight, like don't race with a full tank of gas, get a skinny driver things like that.

Don't get me wrong I love to go fast! But as far as stripping the weight its as light as it can be while still being comfortable to drive, and I fear that I would snap an axle or shear the splines with a spool and I still use the truck to do mulch and things like that. Does the 1500 come with an LSD ? Cause I don't think my trucks ever spun more then one tire and it's only got 119,000 miles and I got it with 60k
