I have over 275,000 on my Yota and I do not use oil additives. 136,000 on Ram, same thing. Keeping oil changed regulary will suffice.

I use it.

Do I swear by it? I don't know.

It is some good stuff don't get me wrong. I use it every oil change, one whole quart. But I get it for free. As well as my Amsoil. Would I run it if I wasn't offered free oil? Occasionally. I have never had any ill affects or performance decreases. But I agree on the statement that good oil and filters is much more efficient than cheap oil/filters and a quart of Lucas. I run 10W-30 Amsoil Synthetic Oil and an Amsoil filter (freaking $18 a pop), and one quart of Lucas, and my oil gets changed every 10,000-12,000 miles. My engine runs great, my pressure is great, I have no complaints at all. Spend your money on good oil, then add the Lucas if you feel the need to. Just my .02.

It helped my ranger with lifter tap on cold startup and oil consumption. Oil light turned on 1 week after buying it. It had 100k on it, oil change with dino oil and Lucas and never saw that light again.

This gets my vote, been using it for 30 years or so. http://barsproducts.com/catalog/view...reatment-100qr It's NOT thick stuff like engine restorer. If I was going to use something thick, this is what I would try. rather than "engine restorer" . http://www.tools2parts.com/Rislone-4..._7c4730_d_3219

FYI engine restorer is not thick either...I have used the stuff you recommended as well as engine restorer... engine restorer is blue... thats about the only noticeable difference when pouring it...
