Is the tuner actually worth the 300 dollars if it only adds a few horsepower?

The plenum, SCT tune, and rockers are probably the best bang for the buck, and then the other option might be to look at y pipe on exhaust.
Where can i get the rockers at and how much do they cost? Would they be a better investment than the sct tuner?

How much did you spend on your CAI? 100 bucks or so? And how much power did you get out of it? 1 or 2 horsepower, and maybe the same in torque....... Yeah, I would say the tuner is worth it.

It was actually 72 bucks! but alright man, I'll take your word for it. What about them 1.7 hs rockers or a 50mm throttle body that a guy makes on here? Maybe even a magnaflow high flow cat and a different y pipe? Maybe them eBay headers? Decisions, decisions.

It is kind of based on what you want out of your truck. The SCT tuner will remove the death flash as well. Good investment. I started with the lenum fix and kegger mod with SCT.

HS Rockers seem to work well...can't tell from personal experience, I just ordered mine this weekend. Should know soon.

Bet advice is to make a list and prioritize it. Have you checked your plenum> if it is blown, fixing that and installing a new timing set will be a good start.

I spent $260 on mine and I got a 20 horsepower increase. So, in order of doing this, what should I buy first? The tuner? The Hughes Plenum fix? The rockers? The throttle body?

I modified my Y-Pipe so I have true dual exhaust, I put stacks on mine that I made myself.

From a cold air intake? I really don't think so. You are gonna have to back that claim with some dyno charts before I will buy into it.
