^Yes, they wake up your engine and they do a really good job if you have had some exhaust work done and have a tune.

However, DO NOT use them if you have a 5.2, the 5.2's have a different piston design that can cause the valves to smack the piston causing some major carnage.

Easier than doing a cam swap, lot less work involved.

This is the first I've read about this? Dont we have plenty of members here with 5.2l and 1.7 RR's?

Well I've got a 5.2 so..do I have to look for different rockers? And by getting these rockers, will I have to upgrade other parts right away? Or can I install them and wait for the next project?

I am pretty sure we have folks with the 5.2 that installed these, and didn't have issues..... and no, don't have to do anything else. take off the old ones, put on these, (follow proper procedure...) and drive it.

Install them properly and go. As HeyYou stated.

I just ordered a set last weekend....for a 5.2.....

This is the first I have seen about any issues. Since they do not open the valve farther, and the piston should not be at the top when valve opens...I don't see this being an issue. (But if it is I would like to know now!)

Actually, in relation to the 5.9, they do open the valve further, due to the stock 5.2 cam having slightly more lift. This might be what DodgeDude was thinking of, but I don't think it causes any sort of interference, since you can swap to a significantly bigger cam in a 5.2 with a stock valvetrain...

5.9 = .410/.410 int/exh
5.2 = .432/.432 int/exh

Either way, the valvesprings are good for .515" of lift, if I recall correctly...
