What do you mean by noisy? Like you can hear it while the motor is running, or it rattles when you shake it?

Yeah when I step on the throttle lightly while at a stop it I can hear, what I think is the valve, start ticking, it quits after awhile until I mash the throttle again

Are you certain that it is the PCV that you hear? I have never heard one over a running engine. I suspect somentning else...maybe a rattling heat shield?

Should be ok then... I expect them to rattle some... but, more at idle than at speed....

It's more apparent at idle, but Im pretty sure I can hear it at speed most of the time. What can a bad PCV valve do?
