As long as you dont get any detonation (pinging) youll be fine. I got it on 93 tune with 93 gas, so I run the 91 tune with 93 gas and have had 0 problems.

i know, ive done my research on the octane booster and the stuff you get from auto zone only boosts it .8 oct i guess. plus, that stuff is too much to put in every tank for how much i drive and fill up. what kinda gains did you see on the 91 tune (mpg/performance) wise. am i missing out on a whole lot by not using the 93?

i ping on 93 gas with 93 tune so im sure 92 gas wont work. i run 93 gas and on 91 tune and it seems more peppy than 93 tune.

also i get about 20-30 more miles to a tank on 91 tune. i lose so much fuel on 93 .

where did you read the octane booster only raises octane .8 octane? I'd like to read up that that since thats completely different than what the bottle states .... (not that I dont believe it I just would like to know more about it....)

heres what I found on the subject and this test even used a 360

I tried 91 octane with a a 93 SCT tune and it didn't work either. I didn't notice any difference between the 93 tune and the tune I use, but the pinging was so bad I may have been losing power.

You'll want to find a booster that raises in whole RONS, not just little bumps.. they're out there, there is just a lot of snake oil around too.. actually there is more snake oil than good stuff.. so, look for whole RONS.. if it does that, it will be proud of it and will be advertised.. others try to talk around that little fact..
