4x4? If so..... axle seals are a right pain... gotta completely disassemble the axle..... tires/wheels, hub/bearings, pull the axles, cad housing, cover, differential itself... drivers side seal is in there..... passenger side seal is got at thru the cad housing hole.

Procedure is in the service manual. (you did download one from the faq section, right? )

Got the free service manual and a Haynes yet? Nobody can splain on the internet what you need to do, without writing a service manual them selves. This is a big job to do both sides.

You might or might not need a spreader. Sherrif420 used a come along to pull his out, and some will just fall out. My 98 just came out when I did the driver side seal. No spreader or pulling.

You need no special tool for the driver side. You just have to take the whole diff apart to replace it. Then you'll need the special tool to install the passenger side seal. Which I have. I can help redneck with this, but he does everything without a manual. LOL, JK bud.

If you need help, I'm available like in the past.
