Default Turning off power windows

Does anyone know if you can temporarily disable the passenger and driver side front window? I need to get my truck inspected and my tint is to dark, but if can role the window down and disable it, maybe i can pass.

there are fuses on the side of the dash for those windows, Pull em. Or you could do it the harder way by taking the door panel off and unplug the power lock/window plug.

When I used to live in Dallas, I could not pass inspection if my windows would not roll up. Glad I'm not there anymore - at least until winter kicks in hard here in Iowa.

I would gladly take your Iowa winters vs south texas summers. but i wonder why windows would cause your truck not to pass? can jeeps without doors get passed?

I used to live in Maine so I know about the winters and inspections. Not really allowed to lift or lower suspension or body lifts.. they say the body lift affects your stopping. There is a frame height law but at the same time say no to altering your suspension. You are only allowed 2 tire sizes bigger or smaller than stock. Of course due to the crap they put on the roads during winter, you cannot have rust holes anywhere. I live in Florida now and they have no inspections which is good. However I didn't know what hot was til june july and august rolled around. It's not fit for humans here without A/C and I must say I'd rather be cold than miserable hot. You can dress for the cold you can't dress for the heat.

That is the truth!! When its cold you can always add more clothes. I can only take off so much before it becomes illegal.
Does anyone know if you have to have working windows to get an inspection?

Just got out of work and called a couple shops that do inspections everyone of them told me working windows dont matter. So lesson learned: If you got tint that is to dark, roll windows down and pull the fuse.
