1000 is too high. The vacuum is probably responsible.

i pulled it and capped it. she is idling around 650-700 now. she fell on her face yesterday when i pulled into work, going to drive her home tonight (6 miles) and see how she does.

650 to 700 is normal. Making progress!

Battery needed charged, ended up driving my car home last night. Hopefully today I can get her started and see how she does

Charged the battery and now I can't get her to start, will crank but not start. I'm getting fuel and spark. This is getting frustrated

Pull the plugs, see if they are wet.

yeah, they were wet, i cleaned them and put them back in. it is flooded and I'll have to wait and try again a little later.

Next time you try and start it, hold the gas pedal on the floor.... see if that helps.

if it is running rich and flooding, how will holding it WOT help? I'm not trying to be a smartass, just trying to learn as much as I can.

Unscrew the pre cat o2 sensor from the pipe and see what happens.
