I read online that dodge recalled some of the plastic rails.....(not sure if it applied to the trucks though.) get a build sheet for your truck, it will also include any open recalls.

I can remove the clips with my fingers for free. Then again, I'm known for being a bad ***.

Dorman Automotive products. Available on line or your local auto parts store. I would be cautious patching plastic. If it leaks, your truck could burn down.
Do you have a link? I am not seeing a replacement.

If you are gonna keep the truck a while convert to the other type of line and metal fuel rails...
That is the whole issue. I do not have time or want to put that kind of money into the truck now. Yes I'll run it in to the ground for work but really need it running asap.

Check with local parts store. I'll see if I can find it on Dorman. They recently made "jobber only" parts available. But if local store has it then you will obviously get it quicker.

EDIT: What they have shows it will not fit a 5.2 or 5.9....... SO this is not a viable option. Does it have to be a plastic rail? Would a metal rail from a different year work?

No, a metal one will not work without replacing the supply line as well.

You may want to read through the posts... It has the plastic rail and that is what the whole issue is. If I was going to do a metal one I would have to redo everything.

How would a metal one work without having to replace the supply line?

Plastic rail has female connector. Metal rail has male connector. Changing to a metal rail would require changing the connector on the fuel line as well. Either by replacing that entire section of line, or, attempting to graft the female fitting onto it. (which is by no means a simple procedure, considering the pressure the system operates under.)
