Yeah, but there has to be a state sticker showing it was inspected and the VIN verified. Most likely that's why they had the title issue.

+1 on the build sheet. That will give you some cold hard facts.

If it has an EGR valve , that will also tell part of the tale.

Went to the dealer and I got me a 1995 1999 dodge ram. It is a 99 but I had the dealer run the VIN and sure enough it came back 95 2500 single cab. The VIN on the truck matches the VIN on the title so tagging it is not an issue. I can run the numbers and it always comes back 95. Apparently it was all changed and the tag was removed and re-riveted to the dash. Oh well now I know what parts I need at least. Anybody know where I can get just the outer glove box skin and the cup holder hinge. Saw some on e-bay but all used. Dodge wants 400 bucks and you have to buy the whole damn glove box. No luck finding it aftermarket so far.

JY is your best bet. I also priced form dealer several months ago and just screamed. I had to get a grey one and paint it to match my tan interior.

I got both those things in the for sale section. You just need to paint them as GD stated.

Sorry have not been on here in a bit but here is the update. I got the build sheet and it said 95 dodge 2500 single cab 4x4. It is none of those things. Oh well the VIN on the title matches the VIN on the truck so to hell with it. I did find a good glove box in the junk yard for $6.78. It was gray but I bought a can of plastic paint and painted it as close to the original color. Paint cost 5 bucks so for less than 12 bucks I replaced the glovebox and it is pretty close to the original color. Not a bad deal I think. Now I just need a hinge for the cup holder and I will be good.

Didn't I see a hinge repair thread for the cup holder at one point? I don't think it was all that long ago.....

Some previous owner did some serious mods to your truck. Which interior do you have?

The interior is 99. i saw the hinge repair but that is not the hinge I was talking about. It is the plastic piece on the inside that snaps in. I will find one eventually and fix it. I have a brother in the plastic manufacturing business. maybe I can get some parts made from better material and start a business......hmmmm sounds nice. Not sure how many would sell though but looking at the forum probably a whole **** load
