Default Whats a good pump for these trucks?

318 4x4 1500 I'm on my 3rd dead electric pump in 3 years and I'm sick of being stuck on the side of the rode! It's stock I shouldn't have this much for issues in it.

So with the end of that rant I ask what pumps do you guys prefer since oriely and auto zone ones don't cut it? And I think I'll order this one off eBay this time and drop it into my fuel hat instead of changing everything out, should save a little coin.

Thanks for reading

Denso, Delphi, and one other manufacturer that I just can't recall. If it's under 200 bucks, its probably a one year pump.

The Delphi actually looks like the one I pulled out of my truck 3 years ago when it had one from the dealership in it and sells for right at $200 so I guess thats my best bet, too bad shipping is stupid expensive looks like I'll be out a vehicle a couple of days, thank you for your assistance

Check your local parts stores as well. Might be able to get it a bit faster.

Have you thought about cleaning out your fuel tank? My guess is that something else is causing all these failures.

Some of the aftermarket pumps are not all they are cracked up to be..... Even the Walbro "high performance" pumps suffer this problem. After the second one died on me after only one year, I went back to a stock pump, and it was still in the car when I sold it.

When I changed out the pump 3 years ago we turned it on its side to dump into a 5 gallon bucket and didn't have anything in it so I think the tank is clean not really anywhere for it too get dirty from, I really think its just cheap pumps. Gonna try crapa tomorrow, gotta break into my buddys truck first cuz I locked the keys in it a couple weeks ago and been waitin for a good reason to get int there lol
