what year does the cracking dash problem end at?
Yes it is the dealership fee, it is all Dodge to me. Dodge would be paying the dealership to fix the dash (if they were going to), why not reimburse them to "diagnose it"? Instead of charging the customer?
I would guess because they dont want to pay for it and I agree you shouldnt have to pay for that for a guy to look and say you're dash is cracked..let me ask you this would you buy another dodge truck if you were to sell that one?my dash is cracked also.not sure if I will buy another dodge..
My brother bought a Chevy truck same year I got the Ram, I wouldn't even look at the Chevy because it was butt ugly to me. His Chevy still looks like new, and they have taken care of every issue he has had. I think the Chevy with a dash looks better than a Ram with no dash.

Apparently, it just depends on who you ask.....

Search GM's CEO speaking in China about a month ago. Many GM divisions have closed in the US & many more are planned to close here & re-open in China in 2013 & that is straight form the mouth of GM's CEO.
Toyota with Ford following 2nd are the leaders in the world. Please do not believe all you hear about government GM. GM has been asking for another bail out for some months now.
Once one becomes government owned as GM has, the only place they have to go is downhill & they are doing so pretty fast I might add.
Government, because of their bail out, like to use GM as their prize of the day & make many false claims to try & keep their public support, but even this is not working.
Do a search & you will see for yourself so you can make your own choice based on what you have learned.

And once again, I reiterate: It depends on who you ask.
GM is still turning a profit. They are still making cars. They are down on market share, but, that isn't too much of a surprise. They haven't had the money to develop new product lines until recently. The 2013 model year is coming up, and GM is going to have some new stuff to show off.
I am not going to bet either way. Just wait and see what happens. Should GM go belly-up, that will be a severe blow to the economy around here, and it will ripple throughout the nation, and then the world. Wouldn't be a good scene..... Do I think the government should bail them out again should they ask for it? Nope. I don't think they should have bailed them out the first time. Folks keep sayin' the free market will save the economy.... but, that's only if the government can keep their fingers out of it..... should have let the banks fail too.
