Ah, thanks buddy! Now everyone can see what I was talking about. I looked through the FSM & found nothing on the molex built into the new seat. I would love to be able to get the built in seat belts to release, but they wont until I figure that thing out. I have blocks of wood for the front temporarily holding it up, but I will eventually rent a welder & do some custom fab mounts to fix the height & position of the mounts. The rears need to be lower & the front ones need to reach further down.

Check to see if the seat bottom and backs will fit on your original fram. Just an idea, but they look like only the mounting brackets may be different - eliminates the 2x4 thing....

I can't find that connector, or, anything referencing seat belts in the service manual..... maybe I am just tired... or, maybe that's the mystery connector..... only thing I could find was the seat belt switch..... which isn't even near the seats...... just bizarre. See if you find any wires going TO the seat belt retractor mechanism, which connector they go to, and what color the wires are.

My truck had no provisions for the harness, only the most base model v6. The other brackets are off the old seat but they are very different. I can use the steel from them though when i get ahold of a welder to use.

I know that the seat mounting fram is different from year to year, but not familiar with the differences in QC and reg cab.

I really wish I could find the trick to releasing the built in seat belts.
