Got a scanner that can read live data? That may help narrow it down.

What kind of smell? Like running rich?

I've been wanting to do eletric fans for awhile.. but with my system I'm unsure if the alt can handle it. I wanna upgrade to dual batteries would that be a plus or negitive vfor the alt wiith the system and fans? The amp is a hiphonics brutus super class d 1200 watt.

Your amp can draw up to 100 amps....... (that just looks wrong....) A second battery will only delay the inevitable. Running out of juice, as the alternator can't keep up. Need to upgrade your alt if you wanna go with more electrical devices.

i have dual batteries, and can say they do help. but i dont have the electrical draw you have. i only have a plow to draw off the batteries, and its only 3-5 months a year. after all my safety mods are completed im going to upgrade to a 136a alt, because i have e-fans to install too.

I have the SuperChips 3865. I says it reads live data but when you plug it in it says it is not supported.

Yeah it doesn't smell like fuel but does smell like it is running rich.

Default My Homemade e fan shroud

Just wanted to put some pics up of the completed Electronic fan housing shroud i fabbed in my cousin's shop using two 97 Taurus fans. I think turned out fairly well. Now looking for best options for a controller to regulate when one, or both come on, and with temp., or AC.
