do the hughes fi air gap i love mine and all is there to do the swap. add the gears once you feel slow with the bigger tires. with cai and headers should do a nice improvement.
removing the mechanical to electric fan is a nice boost of freed up power.

Hello Everyone,

Thanks again for all of your input. I had planned on eventually doing 4.10's in the truck in terms of gears, but it will have to be a later mod. I am hoping to find some people who had put the holley TB in their truck to see what their impressions were of it, as well as the intake manifold. The reason for considering this options is to eliminate the need for ever having to replace the plenum gasket again. I need to do mine one more time and thought if I have it that far apart, it might be a good/bad idea to upgrade to the TB and intake. Thank you all very much for the input on gears, that will become very helpful around this time next year. Also, anyone have a link to a good electric fan conversion?

52mm is really too big for the 318, and marginal for the 360...... Punching the stock one out to 50mm is a pretty good deal, and you can simply modify your stocker. Quick, painless, cheap, and relatively easy.

Going to a single plane intake is going to cost you low end power. Simple as that. However, given that you are already losing low end to the blown plenum, and stretched out timing chain....... swapping the intake, and replacing the timing chain will more than likely get you a net GAIN over what you are experiencing now......

With a proper tune the low end torque loss is non-existent.

Default Thanks!

Awesome, thank you everyone for all of your input. I have been riding the bike pretty much all summer and haven't driven the truck much, so currently its on the back burner. Thanks again.

Why is that? I have a 50mm Fastman
on my 360 and love the bottom end. Depends on what you are looking for I guess.

My next purchase is a cam/throttle body/Tuner/fuel injectors to complete the rebuild I have.

Indy Heads, Eagle Forged Rotating Assy, Speed Pro Flat Tops, SLP Headers and more...

I cheaped out on the cam and went with a stock cam.
