ac compressor

Mine is doing this also. Runs for about 15 minutes then shuts off and wont come back on. I have jumped the switches and have made sure I am not building too much high side pressure. From what I can tell through trouble shooting and researching, the ac compressor has some type of temperature cut off for when it gets to hot to keep from burning up the clutch. I am replacing the compressor on mine tomorrow, I picked up a working pull-off compressor for $75. I will let you know what happens. Hope this helps

Make sure you pull a vacuum on the system before filling.....

Mechanic friend of mine checked pressure and no leaks. Evap core is plugged up and water, when it's working is leaking on passenger floor. He blew some air up the drain hole and the air temperature dropped from 72 to 54 out the vents. Also air flow increased greatly. But, was short lived, must be clogged up again. Any way to blow or suck dust etc. out of there?
