Default Gauge face install

So i got an after market gauge face for my 98 dodge ram cause im sick of how this one looks. is it hard to install them, removing the needles wise? do you just pop the needles of and then put them back on or is there a trick to it?

Witch Guage faces did you buy and you will more than likely need to take them off most pop of with a small amount of force. good luck be shure to post before and afters if possible

The needles do just pop off but they need to be pryed carefully from the bottom as close to the shaft as possible. Also, it's best to remove them with the engine cold and everything off. Mark their position because even though they are electronic cycle gauges the readings can be off later if you get them put back on in the wrong alignment.

Accessing the gauge pod is easy. Remove the dash face. Unscrew the gauge pod, unplug it, open it up, remove needles, replace face, and put back together.

Some after market faces do not have all the same color filters as the stock face. All the bulbs behind the face are standard incandescent bulbs. If you like a specific color filter for a specific light, cut it out and tape it to the back of the new face to retain the filter color for that light.

I put a chrome trim piece on mine which did not necessitate removing needles from gauge. (nearly the only piee of chrome on my Ram now...)

What did you get? can you post a pic?
