yes i now have o/d again. it was just a simple swap of parts. oh and by the way.... a518, and 46re are the same thing.

To be more specific, the 46re is a variation of the A518. Not all A518's are 46re's though.

Is the borg and werner piece something I should just buy for my Viper? I was planning on just using the stock sensors from my trans and putting them into my Viper.. But if there is any kind of better performance over stock I will just buy the new ones...

the borg warner solenoid is bigger and allows better pressure over stock, especially at WOT.

Wouldn't a MegaViper already have an upgraded solenoid?

I have to switch mine out.. It came from a 96.. They might be an upgrade but it wont work in my truck

The BW solenoid is self cleaning.... it flows better, and does not clog as easily as the stock unit. The issues with pressure control at WOT is due to the stock transducers getting saturated at high pressures.... that's where the WOT shifting trouble comes from. BW offers a better transducer as well.
