I had the same issue for many weeks. Replaced bulbs, fuse, relay, nothing worked.

If the switch is bad, i am told the little fog light indicator will not come on when you switch the fogs on, mine did so I did not replace the switch.

I had to trace the wires back with a volt meter, finally found one that was rotted out, fixed er up and booyah!

Thanks for the tip Billcart. I was thinking 4.10's but wasn't 100% sure on that.
I'll give that a shot, DK-v1
RageGuy, I wish I had that problem. The light doesn't come on on mine. I also checked all the wires, not a split anywhere. I'm going to try replacing the switch and cross my fingers that that's my problem.

If the fog lamp light doesn't come on id bet its your switch.

Try a wrecker / pick a part first, might get lucky

Very easy install, Just pop off the bezel and switch screws on / off. Remember to disconnect neg battery first!

Ok, so bought a new switch... didn't fix anything. Followed all the wires, they are all in good shape. What the hell is wrong?! When i pulled the switch, there were three connectors. The big one for the lights and two small ones (both the same size and both fit into the small plug). One had a green with black tracer wire and a black wire. The other had a yellow with black tracer and orange with black tracer. Anyone have a wiring diagram for fog lights?
The fog lights both run blue with black tracer wires. where the hell has this green wire come from? Fuses are good, relay is good..... I'm so damn lost on this one. Any help will be so nice.Attachment 16909

After doing some searching... I got a question. If there's power to the fuse and relay... that must leave bad wires.... but I haven't found and rotten wires. BUT, where the wires "Y" there's a shrink wrap sleeve. Apparently the connection fails? I didn't cut into that so I don't know if there's a splice in there. Would that most likely be my problem?

Grab a wiring diagram from the DIY section. Without that, you're just p*ssing in the wind

It feeds from the actual light switch, so you need to make sure that your running lights are on when testing.

Yep, had the light son while testing. I searched the DIY's and couldn't find a diagram though.

Download the 01 service manual from the thread in the faq section. Wiring diagrams are in there.
