Default Air Conditioner/Heater Blower Problem

I have a 98 Ram 1500, 5.9. Having problems with Air Conditioner/Heater Blower. Someyimes it blows, sometimes it does not.

If I leave it on, it will sometimes just start running. Once it it running, it will run until I turn it off, and then may or may not have the same problem when I turn it back on.

Is it the control switch on the dash that needs replacing?

Thanks for any help!

Dash switch controls ground. When the blower ISN'T working, see where you are losing power at.

Could be the resistor is going bad. But you have some testing to do. Download the service manual from the FAQ/DIY section. Wire schematics are in it. And , if you need a new control panel, I have one available out of a 98.
