ohhh i was under the impression that you were just getting rid of it completely lol not waiting to get another one then swapping lol. yea, we're not far apart at all lol i'm not currently in VA right now, but am going back later this year.

 

I havent made up my mind on it quite yet... I want it off there but then again, Im not sure what I will think with it off lol I see you have a kegger mod too. I ask in another post but no one answered. What is that exactly or is it just a new plenum plate?

 

its exactly that lol, i modified my intake manifold. ported the injector holes a little bit for supposedly better spray patterns and also cut the runners down just a smidgen. plus the plenum plate of course lol other than that, it just took a lot of time cleaning and prepping gasket surfaces lol

 

On the tuner you currently have, there should be an option to set your truck back to stock, which should in turn, unlock the tuner, so it could be used on another truck. (where it would be vin-locked to THAT truck) Then, just plug in your new tuner, and upload whatever tune you want to use on your truck.

 

Would I be fine with just keeping the tuner I have?

 

Perhaps. There are a few folks on here that went from someone else's tuner, to hemifevers tunes, and noticed an appreciable difference. You could always re-sell the one you have now, once it is unlocked, to offset the cost.

 

Oh geeezzz, what would I even sell it for? I have no idea. When I get a chance I can maybe try to find a number on it or something. I dont know how old it is or anything

 

Yeah, see if you can come up with some info on it, might even be something on the splash screen when you first plug it into your truck....

 

I will take that tuner off your hands... I was looking to buy one anyways.
