Up here that is a dealer only part and get this $50 for each nut. Any JY out there? if so go get a unit bearing assy with the stub shaft. Once those threads start to gall they are done for.

i've gotten parts at alljeep for really good prices.
call them if you don't see it online (it helps a lot to have a dana/spicer part number)

Anyone happen to know the thread size on stub shaft? It's about 28.2 millimeters od, which is about 1.11" (or 1-7/64"?), TPI maybe 18.
I need only one nut, but shipping it overseas is pricey, from $40 to $105!! I did contact local Dana/Spicer dealer with part number, but they have not gotten back to me yet. So I thought about getting one turned, I just need exact numbers to get it right.

FWIW all the Danas are metric, the nut is 43 mm.
So HeikIlm put a set of thread gauges on there and see what it shows.
Just a guess here 28mm-1.5. THIS IS JUST A GUESS THOUGH TO GET YOU STARTED.
Thats probably a stock part over in Europe. Cheers

I thank you! Two years ago when I changed the RH hub, I managed to mangle the thread so that it was almost fubar'd, but got it back and torqued. Now when I changed the axle shaft seal I noticed that bearing makes some noise so I didn't get the torque just right. Bad thread, so torque wrench reaches set point too early.
Back then I tried to get a new one, but thinking it's not metric thread (even though I measured it) I didn't find anything. But now I took a thread file which shows the pitch, and it actually is M28x1.5! So far I haven't found nothing, at the big rig shop there was TRE nuts, but biggest one was just a shy off M27x1.5. I send email to specialty bolt shop, hopefully they have something to offer. If not, I just get couple of them custom made.
