Well Ive really been neglecting my thread... forgot where I left off!
Heres my throttle and tv cable rigged up on the old 360 lever. I adapted the tv cable bracket to the timing cover on the 4bt so its still adjustable like before. Heres a short video of me flooring the pedal

slapped on the air intake minus the center pipe and it fit right in without any mods

And I found out the hard way, when the gasser setup cranks it robs all the 12v away from the fuses so I couldnt keep my fuel shut off solenoid open enough to flow the fuel needed to fire. So I rigged up a switch under the steering wheel straight out of the fuse box on the main supply (always hot)

And another crappy video I made with my phone

Nice switch mod, good job on this project, really turning out. Sound cut out when you pushed the throttle in on vid.

Want to swap my truck next?

I know I didnt realize it until it was already on photobucket, I covered the mic on my phone with my hand ... I am 99% done with her, just a couple quirks to work out

tossed the bed on and hooked up the brake lights. She needs a bath something terrible

Nice to see it all coming together!

Edit:

Nice yours actually sounds like a diesel when you're on the throttle, neighbor has an older Chevy Diesel, at idle you can tell it's a diesel, when he pushes the throttle it sounds like every other Chevy V8 on the planet. Chevy Diesel = Lame.

guess a switch is one way of doing the fuel..

on the diesel trucks our computer controls a relay for the fuel pump during starting.

lift pump primes for 5 seconds when key is turned on, and lift pump is also triggered during starting.

if you just pump the starter it will cycle for 30 seconds before shutting back off.

are you using a grid heater for winter starts? If you put one on, you will want to switch it with a relay and run dual batteries as the alternator on even the 6BT's cant keep up with the grid heater. and dont leave it on constantly.. our computer controls that thing too and cycles it on and off every few seconds to keep from pulling too hard on the batteries (it draws 200 amps, or 2400watts of power)

sounds like someone needs to take the wiring harness out of a diesel truck to run that diesel and could possibly use a mean green 220 amp alternator

hell I could use one of those alternators!

factory cummins alternator is 120 amp.

and I have a 1300w sound system that is still being put together (still gotta replace stock speakers before I can turn the gains up on my 1000w amp)
