1998 4bt Cummins Swap
Well just to update after a while...
I'm currently gutting all the moving parts to go into my '88 wrangler. All the way down to 1/2 ton axles and wheels, hopefully ending up with hx30/35 twins and a 5spd

It seems to be more popular as more guys start to run them... It can do more boost than the stock head bolts can take and works well with a maxed VE pump.
I was going to run the hx30/6cm as a single on the dodge but never had a chance. Sounds like the spooling time is hands down faster than my h1c/12cm with nothing lost on the top end at 3200rpm

Cool is the secondary going to have a gated housing? Sounds like it will be alot of fun in a Jeep. I have an '88 YJ as well, I recently built a 4.6 stroker for it and swapped in an AX15 with it (originally had peugeot 5spd).
Yeah probably picking up wagoneer springs for a little stretch...
I wanted to keep the coils in front but after a couple death wobbles in stock dodges I couldn't bring myself to make a custom setup
And the hx30/35 combo seems to be quick spooling/cool egt setup for 250-300hp, which is plenty of torque. I want to try the stock hx35/12cm first for my low pressure and maybe even try a 16cm housing to see if helps with the compound flow
