Cylinder head Job, or Mopar performance heads
I am lookin for some advice whether or not i should just send my old heads to a machine shop and let them clean, resurface, and pressure test my current heads or just start saving for performance heads the only problem with the new heads is the cheapest i can find $900 and thats not including the new head bolt kit, hardened push rods, and the roller rocker set up i need for the new heads. The other problem i am thinking that i might run im to is these heads i have now they have 140,000 miles on them and from looking at them i think there is a decent chance that they could be slightly cracked, if so i would have to get new heads anyway, the dodge dealership wants $300 per head but i forgot to ask if that was just bare head or with valves and springs an so on. and the machine wants $170, if that does not go the way i want it to then im out of the money. An im gonna try to do this with my tax return which prolly isnt gonna be more than $1500, and i also need to drop bout $400 to get it road worthy again cause the PS Pump is gone along with the steering gear box, so.....
I'm still running OE heads, but when I swap them out, odessa or clearwater are the only two options on my list.. they are the same head, by the way.. I've not heard any complaints about them at all.. you can have them built the way you want them, too..
Cific also makes a better head than stock, I am using them, lot's of meat to work with.

That's kinda hard for me to answer as I am up here and I don't remember what the exchange rate was back then, Ok I just spoke to them so I had a currant price to post up $207US each bare.
