Default 46re Transmission Blues

99 1500 4WD, 123k miles. Was shifting fine. One day it started to stay in 1st gear until about 3500 rpms before shifting into second. Everything else seems to be shifting ok. Also can get it to shift earlier by blipping the throttle a bit. Replaced the governor solenoid and pressure sensor with the Brog Warner parts. No shavings in the pan, just some sludge on the magnet. Still does it. ughh. Any other ideas?

Did you adjust the bands while you were in there?

Id say try that. How is fluid level and how does it smell? Not burnt?

Band adjustment is probably your best bet right now.
