i know replace it i got that part but the assembly came apart in 2 pieces. i need to get the other piece off my spindle. and its giving me a fit to get off. i dont understand how else to get it off. but im about to the point to where i just pour diesel all over the truck and light a match lol

 

I must not be understanding, if you have to replace the stub shaft and hub bearing, then why do you care about getting the other half of the bearing off the stub?

 

He needs to get the other half of the bearing off the knuckle.

Screw one of the bolt in partially, put a socket, and extension on it if you need to, so when you turn the wheels, the socket/extension hits something that won't move..... start the engine, and use the power steering to try and pop it loose.

 

Ok sorry. Didnt realize it was still stuck. I thought he was just trying to take it off the shaft. Your plan will work , as well as a puller and his idea. " how do i get that off besides 2 prybars and a deadblow hammer? "

 

got everything popped off and replaced. cost me 68 for a new stub axle and 40 for a u joint. buts its done. now for a tune up. plugs... ive seen a bunch of different plugs used on these trucks. im not looking for a 10 dollar plug but ones that are worth the money and the truck accepts without throwing a fit. which ones should i use? by the way its pretty much stock but it does have a holly throttle body do those come stock or did someone upgrade it?

 

Get stock replacement plugs. Avoid the titanium trend plugs. I really have had great luck with NGK brand which can be bought at most parts stores, and they will have a stock application plug at a good price.

Before spending all kinds of money in the wrong places, read the plenum stickie first.

 

if you read back on this which im sure non of you even payed attention i stated i had time to do the plenum fix took me one full day with labeling everything i could

 

LOL...boy you shouldn't have said that. Now someone is gonna tell you that you didn't repair the plenum correctly or you wouldn't have to change your plugs.
