tire cuping

Default tire cuping

Ok, I have replaced ball joints,wheel bearings,idler arm,and pitman are on my 98 2wd with a 5.2 auto sport. I am on my 2nd set of tires and they are cupped again!!! any help or ideas welcome!!!

OK, I just read the bearing part. Were they properly torqued in the two-step process or just tightened down like a gorilla? It makes a huge difference.

Cupping is generally caused by bad/weak shocks.

I always to the 2 step. LOL! I learned that lession about 20 years ago when I burned up the new bearings in my newport!!LOL

that is something I haven't done! I will have to see how well it bounces!!

Cupping is from the tires bouncing/vibrating. Shocks.

If it were an alignment problem, the wear would be relatively even around the tire.
