First off this is posted in the wrong section.. Nobody knows what you are working on. Car truck van what?? What year? It helps to post in the section that is for your vehicle.. And no there is no picture

Merged your threads and yes, the picture now works. As soon as you tell us your model year and what vehicle you have exactly, I can move you to the right section of the forum.

Posting your phone number on a public forum is a REALLY bad idea.....

This thread is 8 years old, and the original poster likely hasn't been around for most of that. Best bet is to start your own thread, detail your problem, and any steps you have taken to fix it. Help us help you.

I understand what your saying and the trouble your having removing the upper an lower shift levers.
I had the same problem.
On my 2000 base Durango with a 5.9 an 46re. What you need to do to remove it is I believe if I recall correctly is in order to remove the actual shift levers is the transmission has to be all the way down in First gear position .That being the lever pushed all the way forward to the front of the vehicle towards the engine bell housing.
On mine I had to put some elbow grease into it wedging one side an the another with a larger screw driver. The I got a wrench under it an popped it off with some forced leverage. This was while the transmission was still installed in the vehicle. An having removed the lines etc .So slam into first one way or another .An I believe you need neutral to remove the valve body. It's on YouTube like everything else.
