Shudder
Hey Jon, Some..doing as you asked and doing some work then testing..changed the trans fluid & filter and mount as well as adjusted the TV cable again. Also removed the drainback valve and the sudder at 40 mph is 50% better (reduced)..Moving to the bay next and will do the mounts, cyl head, timing belt, vibration dampner..But still have the the surge off idle in both R and D...
Hey pat;
I was looking through TSB';s and came across this one; it sounds alot like your 45MPH and higher one..
Read it; it's long but you can find your description there.

Yup, that is the symptom I have too, surge/buck after lockup and ends around 60mph or there after.
Question is, what is TSB: 18-48-98? This must be done first prior to moving to this TSB...
I found it and reading it now... Lol

That TSB it references is the 'flash of death' as listed as one problem is 'surge' in 4th gear; they basically want to flash of death the PCM before doing the next TSB... seems they think it's predetonation.
Here is the link for reference.

Mine's not after 45mph though; mines right off idle.. (roll off) with no throttle assist..

Check the Chart and see where your condition fall and then look in the right hand of the column and that is the source supposedly of the issue.
Exactly if you already have the FOD done... according to the symptoms and the TSB.. there is the answer supposedly from Dodge.
