Disagree completely. Feel free to link to said parts to "tell me off".

Well, I don't shop for pansy parts (1/2 ton stuff) so here's what's on my shopping list for gears.

Front
http://www.drivetrainamerica.com/p-8...set-thick.aspx
http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-717...sco-94-98.html

Rear
http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-126...ster-rear.html
http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-717...88-motive.html

I have a 4.56+ 30 spline detroit, so I will only need one thick cut gear set.

Total there is $620. I would think that 44 parts should be even cheaper, and 9 1/4's I don't know about.

Don't know about buying parts seperate, but I just got quotes from a few local shops.
Regear to 4:10's with new bearings and seal and carrier for the front.
OTD: $1200

Well that answers your question!

No sense holding out for a 5 lug dana 60
