Trying To Make My 97 Ram Louder?
I'm trying to make my 97 Ram alittle louder. I already got a 1 into 2 muffler (Similar to flowmaster but it don't have a brand name) so i don't really want to buy another one.
I was thinking maybe magnaflow high flow cat, pacesetter short/longtube headers, and one of those offroad y pipes? Would that make it louder?
What's you guys' thoughts?

hi-flow will make it slightly louder and still keep it passing emissions.
cat gutting will just make it have that popping sound on deceleration which sounds like crap...
I used to try and make my gas V8's loud as I could...now a days I want em as silent as possible...easier to be stealthy
my old 86 GMC sierra classic was crazy quiet. walk more than 10ft away from it and you couldn't hear it running. thing was dead silent. inside the truck you almost couldn't hear it running.. lil 350 had plenty of power though..
my dodge on the other hand sounds like a semi lol. but exhaust even though its straight pipe, is reasonable..compound twins do quiet down the exhaust quite a bit. and diesels don't make that popping sound on deceleration with straight pipe because they don't inject any fuel at all till they reach idle speeds again unless the throttle is pressed down.
