Installing a Supercharger on my truck??
I was thinking about installing a supercharger in my truck. Since the 5.2 engines, stock, can't handle forced induction, I was thinking about using a M90 Gen V model. I say that because I have that specific one lying around and I figured that a supercharger meant for a V6 wouldn't impact the truck too much but there would be a noticeable power increase. Is this possible? I know that there would be some fabrication involved and I'm prepared for it. I'm just concerned about the computer and what I would have to do with it.

You're bottom end will handle 7-8 PSI reliably.
There's TONS of complications when boosting an engine. Do your homework. It's not cheap either, even if you have the 'charger laying around already...

You can more than 3psi on a 5.2 ....
Your gonna need custom tuning for it. Hahns5.2 has a turboed Dakota, hx40 turbo and mega squirt tuning. Look around his thread https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...rbo-build.html

you will want to get the kit because they are not as common to find. back 5-10 years a little more common. plus injectors and cooler and super chargers them selves are not cheap. plus built right to run 7-8 psi like you want. figure running around putting this all together in time. vs buying kit installing and playing before you even have half your parts. in process of saving for the kit 2k down 4k to go. figure christmas or march for my birthday.
